It's amazing that so many people still play Pokemon Go despite all of the problems it's having. It's still fun.. So far I still have only played on my way to/from work, and when I'm driving around I make pit stops at pokestops 
Hard to hatch eggs this way.
Probably going to head downtown and/or to the lakes this weekend to get some good time in.

Seems like the best way to do gyms is find 3/4 that are close to each other. If they're your team train until you can join them, if they aren't than take them over.
Put weak pokemon you don't fight with in the first few and then on the last one or two put your strongest pokemon.
Then you collect your gym reward right away, your weak pokemon will get beat but maybe your strongest guys can hold, either way you get a nice reward

I used to do a playthrough or two of Soul Silver every year, but I found a Pokemon speed runner on Twitch I started watching who has several WR's and watching him beat Red/Blue/Yellow with literally only a Nidoking in less than two hours just takes a lot of the magic away.

So I've seen a few "new to me" Pokemon pop up on Pokevision this morning: Rhyhorn and Charmander. Both were too far from my office to take a walk this morning. 
ETA: I did use a lucky egg yesterday afternoon and went from about lvl 18 2/3 to 20 1/5.

I got a 495 cp snorlax on way home from work yesterday. Level 9 here. I feel like that is the highest cp # yet by a wide margin. 2nd highest is 290. Is that normal?

for those of you near lvl 20 or over, what is the highest bulbasaur/charmander/squirtle you have seen. Trying to figure out if I should wait to evolve them. Mine are mid 400s.

I'm finally ready to use a lucky egg and mass evolve (level 12) but I am making myself wait until at least level 15.
Went through my captured Pokemon and transferred about 100 to the professor and I evolved 2 eevee's just in case they raise the candy limit above 25.
I now have 1 of all 3 but their CP isn't that great right now but better safe than sorry. I only evolved one with the name hack.

Just caught a 1250 (powered up to 1404 currently) Dragonite at work. Immediately became my best one yet (level 17) but his attack combo sucks donkey nuts (steel wing / Dragon Pulse)

I dont think Pokevision gives you every pokemon location. Just a few. If it had more fundage, man power, etc. It could probably do that.
