That's what I did this morning. Did a lucky egg, evolved about 7 or 8 pidgeys, set a lure at a Pokestop and camped for a while.
Went up 2 levels in about 15 minutes.

Save up a bunch, pop a lucky egg, and go to town. I evolved 29 different animals (pidgey, weedle, or caterpie) during my last lucky egg round.

I average 62 evolves in a single lucky egg
And make sure I am somewhere with lures to try and catch more pidgeys to evolve.

Just caught a cp504 Eevee at lunch.....then I fricking missed out on a cp200+ PIKACHU!!!! I've been looking for that little fricker everywhere. When I finally see him, he breaks out of like 10 balls and then I fricking run out!!! 
So I make the 5 block walk around downtown BR to reload on balls and when I get back to the corner of Laurel and Lafayette, he's gone.

I'm usually loaded up during the week and find myself discarding potions and revives. But, I haven't been in my office since Friday afternoon. It's a lot harder to keep stocked up when I'm not sitting between 3 stops all day.

I started an incubation of an egg and now no other pokestops or pokemon show on my map, is this correct? Am I stuck until I walk a 5k? I should have taken it on my run this morning.

Does evolve mean taking the pokemon to a higher level or simply giving him more power?
What do you do with a powerful pokemon, how do you leverage that?

Yeah I'm used to constant supply at work. I started freaking out when my poke balls dropped below 40. Then I realized I had 70 great balls. I get nervous when I approach the 100 mark combined and pissed when the pokestops don't give me stuff.
