Incense are really made to use out and about, not in an apartment/house

The complex I live in is pretty big. I wasn't just walking around inside my apartment

Even still, it wasn't much different than what I see without the incense. Kinda bummed the game has been a dud for me thus far.

Hopefully it picks up soon.

Really hope the tracker is fixed when I open the game tomorrow. Not sure how much more pure aimless wandering I can do. I don't want to resort to Ingress either.

This. It's a great game but this is a must fix for me. That and nerfing Vaporeon. The best thing about Pokemon to me is the variety. It sucks when everyone abuses Vaporeons and don't really use anything unique

Yeah, the eeveelutions are so broken. I can't believe they got through the beta testing.

No way in hell should a 25 candy thing be stronger than a 400 candy gyrados...ever.

Just ran up to Wal-Mart to pick up the Batman V Superman Ultimate Edition on Blu-Ray and for some reason when I pulled in like nine pokemon popped up. Caught three pidgey's, two ratattas and two eevees. Left a shite ton of Zubat and other pidgeys there.

Random place for a shite ton to be.

I keep hearing Walmart is a hotspot but everytime I've been I get less than at the house. Maybe the middle of the night isn't as active bc nobody is really there.

I believe both my Psyduck and Slowpoke were in the 600, slow I think was 620.. It's possible the Psyduck was in the 700 but I'm not sure.

Evolved my 110 Magikarp into a 1350 Gyrados last night also

kind of getting tired of the game. the combat/gym system is not very fun. Walking around aimlessly for poke getting kind of boring when most of them are rats and birds. The marco polo function is broke AF. Hope fixes/updates gives this game some longevity.

I agree I think a vast majority of casual players are going to get burnt out, though I do see some new users still popping up on my Facebook; including people who have never played Pokemon before.

I don't think they thought this thing all the way through so once they get the servers patched up.. They allow for trading and battling with friends.. I think they're missing the boat on a huge element to the original games.. That's kinda been mentioned here before I think. I mean I take a fair amount of trips so I can look around and shite for different ones so that's cool but your average player is gonna catch the ones around them and get bored; and this game has attracted tons of people who definitely wouldn't consider themselves gamers or anything that have been having fun playing it.. So even doing gym battles kind of sucks for them because more active "gamers" are taking over places with 1000-2000 cp Pokemon so they can't even really go battle, but if they could with their friends even if just for bragging rights or maybe the loser has to give up a Pokemon like racing for pink slips or something (sorry my only knowledge of that is fast and the furious so if that's now how it goes don't blame my car world ignorance).. But have something at stake even if it's not just getting experience because then basically people could just do countless battles and cheat the system but idk.. There's something that can be done there to make it way more social and engaging.

Or even like have different "premier gyms" or something and like it be really rare that people could legit go all across America and / or the world (depending on how they wanted to scale it) and you could get gym badges and shite which would be like cooler in game achievements then the kind they currently give you..

Question
If my pokemon lose a battle and just go to 1HP and never actually faint, what's the point of having Revives?

You can use it anywhere. Doesn't matter where you use it. Doing it in a high spawn area will not effect the essence, sitting at your house will not change anything either. Essence spawns draw from a completely different pool. You usually get 4-9 spawns from one with the possibility of 1 rare spawn.

Revives work when you faint at an opponent gym. Only opponents can "kill" your Pokemon making a revive necessary. Friendly gyms leave 1hp.

If I train, I take my Pokemon with 1 hp to an opponent gym and lose so they all can use a revive.

Niantic is already working on trading and a friendly combat system. 2nd gen Pokemon are suppose to be out by December.

The real issue will be if they keep increasing level cap. Casuals will get decimated and that will keep new people from playing.

The tracker needs to be fixed, I don't use it THAT often is I have a route I run every day. However, if something does pop up I will try to track unless it leads me to cross a Hwy, going into a cane field, walking in someone's yard, etc.
