"We added a 'scan for other players' in the Galactic Map to try to encourage this happening. We wanted it to happen - but the first day?," he said. "We want people to be aware they are in a shared universe. We added online features, and some Easter Eggs to create cool moments. "We hope to see those happening... but too many of you are playing right now. More than we could have predicted," he continued. "It is a testament to how amazing our network coders are that Discoveries are still working at all." Oddly, one thing he did not address is the fact that the two players that met up were unable to see or interact with each other in any way. This has resulted in some confusion, given that Murray has indicated Hello Games wanted people to find each other and has put in Easter Eggs for when they do. Sean Murray has been hinting on Twitter that the game's servers are under strain, so it could be connection issues that prevented the two players from interacting with each other. It remains unclear whether or not it'll eventually be possible to see someone.

Just want to also mention I got totally lost in a cave system last night. I walked around this amazing cave for 2 hours probably before I just gave up and realized I could reload my save from when I saved at an outpost before entering it. I felt literally like I would have in real life if I wandered in some shady cave and went too far and couldnt get out. I was claustrophobic as all hell.

I broke into a factory and found a recipe for antimatter. Also landed on this one planet just before bed and an alien gave me a new multi tool.
Inventory space is really bad in this game though. Constantly shuffling stuff around. I've got a good bit of rare resources but I don't know if I should hang on to them or sell them

I did that same thing while sentinals were attacking me (I kllled 4 of them) It's a part of the tutorial to get the antimatter receipe for the warp drive
Inventory space gets better. There are drop pods with suit upgrades all over the place, I added 3 slots already last night. Until you find those, sell anything that's green and marked as "Trade Commodity" and any rare metal like Gold, plat, etc. Keep other stuff in your ship if you think you might need it.

Find drop pods on planets...when you go in them you can buy another gear slot for your exosuit.
Im trying to save up for a ship with tons of space. They're expensive as hell though. The legit one are like 3-4 million and I only have around 1.5 million
You can also buy a slot for the exosuit when you goto space stations. You just need the Atlas pass vI

I like it and a lot of people I've seen seem to like it to. It has its flaws but I think long term it can be a really good game with new features and constant updates in near future. And you can see people online just to clarify for people.

Check this planet. Sub-freezing tropical planet with flying dinosaurs. -31.7 Celsius but with liquid oceans and I swear what looks like a T-Rex with wings.

Got home from work yesterday, turned on the game, and played for 5 hours. Looked up and realized it was 10 o'clock and needed to go to bed. I can't remember the last time I've played a game where I lost track of time.

there's no need to be upset. It's clear that the developers were deliberately ambiguous so as not to lose a segment of the playerbase that wanted multiplayer, so people have a right to be pissed. I'd love for it to be the revolutionary experience that it was touted to be, but it appears that it's not. Sure, they can add shite in patches later, but gamers have very short attention spans and it's hard to get people to pick up a game again down the road.
