Not to mention it's been out for less than 24 hours. I wouldn't be surprised if not everything was working as intended, which is normal for new released games.

Watching a stream now, this seems pretty insane. Guy is on a planet, sees another one, just hops in his ship and starts the journey toward it. I have a feeling I'm going to end up grabbing this.

I believe it all is the same universe, like you can find planets and species of animals on planets that people have discovered and named. It all runs on one server.

I get bored soooo quickly doing solo games like this.
If I have some friends to sit around to chat/play with while having a few drinks is far more fun for me in a game like this

I'm fine with communicating with others. I just don't want to rely on anyone else. I play MMOs almost exclusively solo.

I just landed on an irradiated planet covered in red with a red sky. Pretty sure I'm gonna a die here. There's no plutonium to be found. Guess I'll name it Reggies.

Nice! I just left an outpost where dead bodies were being consumed by some parasitic lifeforms. I took their money and data and ran for the hills. The game went from Zen like to crap my Huggies in 2 seconds. Good stuff.

I just blinked and 5 hours had passed with me exploring 3 systems and about 2 planets in each.
Man i don't have time for all of this shite. This is by far the most engrossing game of all time. Just the level of things to do, discover, upgrade, kill, is unconscionable.
If hello games manages to somehow patent their formula, those dudes will never have to make another game again.
Imagine a game with cities...buildings, people, various plant life, all procedurally generated.

I've been stopping at planets here and there. I've mostly just been traveling through the Atlas mission. That's where I discovered the black hole anomoly/path.

There was definitely something sinister going on from the guys data file. I found this outpost on the first planet I was stranded on. Not a lush planet. Did have a lot of isotopes and metals though. Got a ton of gold that scored me a lot of units. When I pick up Tom. I'll try to go back to the planet and find the outpost.
