How long did it take you guys to initialize once you started the game? Seems like it's been 10-15 minutes.

You mean once everything installed? Maybe 15-20 seconds of an animation of flying through space, then I was on a planet with a broken ship to start the game.

Mine initialized pretty quickly after downloading/installing the patch.
FYI: If you do kill a robot/sentinel, kill it quickly before it summons friends.
Also, don't run out of blaster power while shooting down sentinels

Yeah right after I posted I hit the bottom and it initialized. Also...game just crashed while fighting sentinels

About 30 second fly through space. Then 5-10 seconds holding down square to initialize. Then the world you spawn on appears around you

I sat on that initialize screen for awhile while eating thinking it was loading. Finished eating and thought I'd try hitting square

Musick, I redeemed my ship the minute the game started. Never got a hyperspace warp drive quest. Guess I'm stuck with this ship.

The planet I spawned on is really cold with dinosaur looking land bound creatures. Only place on the planet that doesn't drain my hazard protection is in caves or buildings

Watching people play don't make me want to play this game, it looks like of hours of gathering with short burst of upgrading and other stuff. Can someone give me a break down of what parts of the game take what amount of time?
