Shes not useless shes just like other chars who aren't a part of the meta right now. I've already said what benefits she brings to the table and can be an asset to a team.

I will agree Ashe isn't the #1 adc, but she isn't the worst...

Ashe is not a dominant ADC, but she isn't trash either. Just bc you can't play her correctly, doesn't mean she isn't useful.

It doesn't matter. If the pros aren't using a champ, then they are complete useless trash and need to be taken out of the game.
C9 could play a character that looks like a dog turd and whose only abilities are suicide and people on here would rave about how much better that champ is than everyone else.

I still contend that saying Ashe is completely useless is laughable, but to each their own.
It does annoy me though, that a lot of people think that if TSM, C9, etc... aren't using a champ, then they are absolute useless garbage.
Obviously some champs are much more viable and better than others. And I'm not saying Ashe is top tier or that she can out 1v1 a lot of other champs...hell I'm not even saying she is better than Jinx. But to say she is totally useless just seems so asinine to me.

the thing about Ashe is that she's a terrible laner. When the most popular marksmen right now are huge bullies (Lucian, Draven, Sivir) it causes huge problems for her.
Tack on the fact that she's jungle food with zero form of escape other than her built in CC in addition to the other fact that she doesn't have the late game damage to back the lack of escape up.
That being said she's still a good pick. If you're doing 5's in Silvers or with a team and your comp revolves around her, by all means play Ashe.

Agreed. Maybe it's because I'm playing premades with 3+ friends every game that my opinion is different.
Buddy of mine mains Ashe as an ADC and we usually do pretty well bot lane, especially during ganks (both enemy and ours) with her slowing abilities.
I'm also pretty loose with my role as and ADC. I take what the other team gives me, also taking into consideration the champ I'm playing.
As Ashe, I'm content letting the lane get slightly pushed to my side and out farming the oppoent waiting for them to get out of position (which they always do bc they think Ashe is a non threat.)
Can't tell you how many times her frost shot and volley have secured kills on champs running away.

I mean totally useless is an exaggeration. But there are so many better picks. All I play is Adc and I havent picked Ashe in months. I normally play with a group of 4 or 5 people. And theres almost no reason to ever need that much Slow or CC from the adc when you have somebody who deals 10x the damage she does. Shes a Utility ADC who has been left behind in the Meta. Before Jinx/Lucian she could contend because the role was so wide open. Now the role is pigeonholed into people who can kill the tanks or people who can stay safe enough while doing damage. Ashe frost shot is nice but with the way the current tank items work and the current tops (Mundo/Shyvana) frost shot isn't enough to stop them from just eating you alive.

That's the thing though. Most of the time the only way you're going to take advantage of the enemy misplaying is if you're coordinated with your team Which from Bronze V-Diamond III solo queue is a lot to ask for.
