Question... Any way to turn off the auto snap feature? Also later in the game, can you build better walls? These holey ones are ruining my sanctuary castle vibe

So I have a question for "clearing" locations on the map. Some places say [CLEARED] and some places won't. I've killed and looted literally everything in those places but still nothing. Do some locations just not clear like in Skyrim or am I missing something?

I haven't messed with it yet, but it sounds like the builder forces you to put the walls in certain spots, like an invisible designated square.

Some "locations" there are existing dwellers that you must complete a side quest for them. Once completed i think it becomes "cleared"
Not all but some i believe are like this.
Snap feature are you playing on console? Normally pc with a mouse is free motion while consoles use a snap feature to help. I play on PC, not sure what your referring to by snapping.

Hey all,
while many may have already figured this out, getting blown up by land mines was driving me crazy.
You can see nearby mines if you pull up VATS.
(There are several at the ghoul-infested national guard area)
I'm not sure if there are other ways to detect mines, aside from walking over them -- which I don't recommend.

Havemt played a fallout game before. Should I start with this one or buy fallout 3 on the cheap. will only have time to play one of them over the next year

Woooooooohoooooo!
So, I got my XBone fallout 4 bundle from Amazon.
Set it up, and after a load that took forever, all is great, wasteland fantastic.
However, a couple nights ago I notice that the X button is sticking and slow to Pop back out.
I send Amazon an email that the controller is sticking.
The email me back today offering a 30% refund AND a new button.
So I just got the XBone fallout 4 bundle for 280$!

weapons desk thing. You can upgrade how you like or turn them back to stock.

Just got sent on my 2nd Brotherhood mission to the same place, it was easy since I had cleared it out, looks like you could farm them if this is what happens. 100 caps for 5 minutes work.

Just came across a level 40 glowing one. Really not sure what he was weak against. I let the raiders in the area do most of the work.

Two things:
1. I can't see mines for shite.
2. Because of this, I'm getting a bunch of broken limbs. But the last two times this has happened, I "toughed it out" to see if I could find a bed instead of using a stimpack. Well after about 30 seconds, ALL BETTER. What's going on? Did I accidentally put it on easy mode?

I must have been super lucky on my first initial LEARNING play.
I picked up 2 real nice weapons which kicked arse. This time, I can't find jack.
I think I had a point or 2 more in Luck and it really makes a difference.
I've had a couple of crash to desktops.
