Pottermore gave me huffle and everyone and their mom is doing ravenclaw so ill stick with the puff. Games unpacking on steam now.

So I just bought the normal $60 version through Steam and it let me download but says the game isn’t live till Feb 10th. Guess I bought the wrong one and shoulda spent 10 more bucks for the deluxe? Oh well, what’s a few more days I guess.

Got my steam key through CDKeys. 57 for the deluxe version. Worked and preloaded yesterday.

I understand waiting to get a single player game on sale but there isnt gonna be item and stat creep. Loot is tied to your level.
You could just play on an easier difficulty if u wanna OP gear

So because I got Ravenclaw that's going to be the robe link I get, even if I pick Slytherin? Why not just give all the robes and you just pick the one for that playthrough..

I absolutely suck at creating a character. I always secondguess myself. In these 3rd person games I normally make them after my wife so I watch her running around. I really don’t know much about HP, the clans and all so not sure what to do.

U cant change ur wand. Can change ur haircut later i think. Only things u are stuck wit are wand and house. U can add handles to ur wands to change them somewhat but the wood color and designs stay the same. Id say frick it, dont overthink it cuz u probably wont even notice much in game haha

Trying a workaround here. Requested a refund through Steam and downloading the deluxe version through Epic now. Had an old Rocket Leavue account there.

I am taking my time. Only done 2 main quests and i am up to level 6 with 21 defence and 15 offense. I want to get all the quick travels first.

Game looks great, though the facial expressions of the protagonist are a little off for me. And apparently like a lot of people, I’m seeing some odd frame rate drops where my GPU usage falls through the floor. Hopefully we will have a driver/game update to sort those out soon.

This game is the epitome of me amassing my backlog. I just started ragnarok, decided I should buy red dead 2 for my laptop and all sorts of other games.

I played for 3 hours today and had no issues at all on Ultra.
I have a decently meaty rig, tho, so I suppose that could explain it.
For reference:
RTX 3080ti
Ryzen 9 5950x
32gb RAM
I didn't turn on RTX because that's what I've heard is causing some issues.
As for the game itself:
It's been a blast just running around Hogwarts doing little collection tasks and discovering different things. After seeing about 10 doors with numbers, pictures, and spinny wall dice I finally found the solution and was able to go back and open some of those doors. Felt pretty good.
Faces are kind of wonky, but so far that's my only complaint (I just made it do Hogsmeade).
