I didn't turn on RTX because that's what I've heard is causing some issues.

32gb of 3800mhz 14-14-14-28 RAM.
The frame drops are odd. Literally single digits during the sorting hat cutscene, for example. 20's walking down the staircase from the Ravenclaw common room, etc. But I'll get 110fps+ in other parts of the castle with vastly more detail and space.

My big issue with creation is the super minimalist silhouette icons. I couldn't tell frick from them, especially with facial shape. Had to click on every one multiple times

I've not seen this anywhere else, but try capping your frames at 60 fps. Might stabilize you.

Nah, it's some kind of coding flaw. When it happens, my GPU wattage/usage falls through the floor. It's just some bugginess. I'm not worried about it, though. I'm sure it will get sorted.

It amuses me that Cyberpunk 2077 had trans possible PC, trans NPC, all over the place, and no one gave a shite. One trans NPC in HL and it's the end of the fricking world

I'm running a 1070 with few stutters (settings are all on low, will be nice to see it on a new system in a couple of months) and it runs a bit warm (laptop), but that's about it.

Yep, once I saw that I just operated under the assumption that she was always female and moved on.
I do find it hilarious that the chick who was supposed to be a dude in drag was also a psychopath who wanted to murder people over a death in a car race.
