This game was made for people like me. My wallet is officially opening. I've been a PlayStation gamer since 1998. The only reason why I ever wanted one was to play the original FFVII. Then I discovered the NCAA Football series and have been with the console ever since.

That gave me half a chub. I just finished a playthrough a few months ago in anticipation. FF7 still remains the only game I've played through more than once.

I just wish that there was more to this game than the midgar section. It will be 2025 at the minimum before this thing is completed, lol

This is what sucks. The rate at which it takes for square to make a game is absurd. Not to mention the talent they have hemorrhaged as time has gone by.

I think it ultimately depends on how ambitious they want to be with the FF7 universe stuff to add in and how much new content they want. FF13 took forever in development, but its sequels were developed quickly. I would be surprised if Part 2 released any later than late 2021/early 2022.

Yup. Once you have the foundation the rest could be done quicker. I think X-2 was made in a year.
