Don’t buy SW: Battlefront 2

Progression in this game is designed in the same way as a free to play pay to win game except instead of the game initially being free, it cost $60 up front. What I mean when I say it’s desinged like a free to play game is that it is pay to win. You have to pay additional money to unlock things through slot machine tactics and if you don’t pay additional money and attempt to earn in game currency by playing the game, it will literally take you DAYS of ingame play time to unlock anything and progress. Don’t buy into this bullshite slot machine progression system. Kids will get ahold of their parents credit card and basically pay real money for slot machine rewards. There’s no gaurettes. It’s an online version of gambling. Don’t let EA nickle and dime you or your kids. It’s fricking criminal and should be outlawed.

You also have the option to pay money to unlock heroes to play as in the game like Darth Vader. Sure, they have an ingame currency that you can earn by playing the game to unlock the heroes without paying the extra cash, but it will take you over 40 hours of game time to unlock a single hero. Reddit users have done the math. They make it insanely tedious to unlock anything in the game on purpose so you have incentive to pay extra cash on a game that already cost $60 upfront. This is fricking bullshite. If you buy this game, you are supporting this nickle and dime bullshite and you can expect to see more of this from future triple A games. Kill it now before it becomes a standard for triple A games. Don’t buy and don’t support SW Battlefront 2
