My favorite is to start as a Head Coach for the worst team in the game (usually UTSA). Build them into a good bowl team and grab a big time school when I can.

I’ve enjoyed LSU obviously but I also think it’s fun to play with ND, Nebraska, FSU, Michigan…. 90s teams I suppose.

I always licked picking schools with helmet stickers, like the Tomahawk on the FSU helmet. Like most of everyone else, I love picking an underdog school and recruiting a very athletic 3 star QB and turning him in to a stud and Heisman hopeful cause of his dual threat stats.

that is part of the fun, tho. Getting blasted early on but slowly seeing improvement as you add more talent or learn how to use your limited talent. Winning shouldn't be easy at all when you start with a cupcake.

You will have to start as the coffee guy like drink unless you pay 4.99 for the instant OC upgrade. Saban package with maxed out coaching stats for 99.99. Can't wait.

Always do many LSU dynastys but love building up small schools.

Friend of mine and I made a dynasty few years back and after a 1-11 season as the DC at Buffalo, got the DC job offer for Bama. Then HC job for LSU. Been playing the game for so many years and never jumped up to HC of a P5 school so fast.

Meanwhile he was at Wazzu and didn't get any big offers until 4-5 years in and they were a good team too.

I'm just going to pretend I'm T Boone Pickens, pick somebody like UMass or UConn, and turn them into a power as fast as I possibly can.

First and foremost, I base all the schools in dynasty I coach off uniforms. Also like to go in and edit most of the player's gear as well.

I'll usually start off at a MAC or Sun Belt type school. After 2-3 seasons of that I'll move up to a MWC or AAC type conference. From there a low tier P5 team like a West Virginia, Washington St, Illinois. From there a higher tier team for about 2 seasons like a USC, LSU, Texas, etc. After 2 seasons of that I'll basically start over again in a shitty conference and do new teams. I played the shite out of NCAA 14 dynasty. Cant wait til July for the new one!

Yall must be young. LSU was the shite school to choose. So I would pick lsu and just try and recruit the best players and win every game.

I always start with a horrible team with the Heisman difficulty, and when it comes to recruiting I don’t care what there rating is if it’s a skill position as long as they have speed and the only thing I change is the height and weight… let’s say I get a 2 star with a 66 rating, that’s 5’8”/170, I’ll change him to 6’/0”/200 because in my convoluted mind he hit another growth spurt and worked out before he made it to campus… lol!!!

Why can’t they just use generic made up players and release the game. I wish bad things for these people

I've been dreaming of turning Kansas into the greatest program of all-time for a while now.

One of the funner dynasties i had was playing with a very shitty army team. I like to pick teams that are in the north just to have the random snow game. Anyway, 1st season was rough. I think i finished 3-8 or something like that (NCAA 14, i don't remember the # of games.) Next offseason i signed a bunch of 2 and 3 stars, and 1, 4 star RB that had very fast speed (like 94 or something in speed). I used him almost exclusively to a 7 or 8 win season the next season. He had like 1400 yards rushing, and 400 yards receiving. Next year, i recruited better, had a couple more 4 stars. Finished with 10 win season. Then year 3 i went 12-1 with a natty.

Usually, however, i start a dynasty with LSU, play that for a few dynasty years then pick a shitty team and try to build them up.

I’m pissed with the recent announcement of them pushing it back but if they roll out a NCAA that reminds me of my childhood and teenage years it would be worth the wait…
