It's one example, and I've been playing for two days and haven't heard it once. It' s not about hearing it "enough". It's about having 8 hours in the game and still wondering if it's in the game because I haven't heard it at all. Just something I noticed that was in the game in the past that I haven't experienced yet. If you want I can write a post that would take up this entire page with issues I've found so far. It's a buggy mess, especially the menus, and the stink of microtransactions still lingers on RTG and dynasty with how hindered progression is. Getting penalized harder for hitting your receiver in the hands and him dropping it (-15) than you get rewarded for throwing for a first down (+10) is laughable.

Gameplay is great to me.
I didn't say it was bad. I said it felt more like Madden than NCAA. However, the blocking AI is objectively bad.

I played at Arkansas and heard it several times but I also had the commentary off in that game. Sometimes I like just hearing the sounds of the stadium and everything on the field.

I still get hangups where I have to call to when running no huddle. The dynasty point allocation/budget/ hiring assistants is super fricking clunky and weird. Like you don’t set a percentage point or set amount of points it’s just whatever you spend on each department.

The timing of hiring assistants is terrible and contracts are bs. I was forced to hire some assistants due to not having any dynasty points at the end of season and now I’m stuck with them going into new season as I can fire them. I keep going to manage staff but I can’t fire them yet and we are in the portal recruitment. So I saved some dynasty points in hopes to hire new oc and dc and now my shite reset and can’t fire them currently. They were both f when I had to hire them now b+ because of me.

Recruiting is pissing me off kinda. Currently at duke won 2 nc there and have to fight like hell and still lose big time recruits. Pipelines suck and apparently those are a big deal in recruiting. Offer max nil and still lose to Oregon and such that offer expected nil isn’t realistic. The it’s late in season so now I’m having to overpay for decent recruits since I’m playing catchup when losing out of big recruits.

Transfers are insane. I had e guys transfer due to championship contender when I’ve won the last two nc. lol seriously.

A running clock doesn't restart after an injury timeout. It's treated as a full timeout. Genuinely game changing bug.

In 26, with the CPU out of timeouts at the end of games, there’d always be a string of 4-5 straight injuries when the CPU needed to stop the clock. Lane must have been overseeing situational programming

Lol I can't imagine enjoying winning 2 already with Duke and then complaining about not getting good enough recruits. I guess I just like a more realistic challenge. Anytime the game has got too easy for me in the past I start losing interest in it.

In year 1 buffalo missed the playoffs because Boise went undefeated. So Mac with no ranked wins gets you to 14.

I started this year playing at Michigan and poor Dabo got mactioned out of the big house 34-0 and they are 0-2 in his year 1

Year two of a career and 6 teams in the SEC have overalls in the mid 70s...

Is this after the new patch? I've always thought ratings should be more spread out. I remember past games 60 to 70 percent of the teams would have ratings 80 and above and 15 or so teams would have 93+ ratings. There just wasn't much separation, so I don't mind seeing this.

Yes.

Except all it's doing is putting half of the SEC teams on the same level as the MAC. It's not actually creating separation. It's just weakening the bigger conferences. Auburn and Bowling Green should not be the same overall a year into a career.

Considering your posting history I'd wager EA could ask for your first born child for coaching upgrades and you'd suck them off for it.

I've also confirmed that certain stadium atmosphere audio files are not triggering after some of the latest patches. Yet another bug.

quote:

The iconic Arkansas Hog Call ("Woo Pig Sooie") is missing or failing to trigger properly in audio atmospheres for some players in EA Sports College Football 27, similar to other reported stadium audio and immersion bugs following recent patches.

If you could actually go back the last how many ever years, all I've done is talk shite about EA. This is the first year since probably around 2004 that I can say that I've actually loved the gameplay. Also I only do offline dynasty so I've been satisfied other than the cpu not signing many 4 star players. Apparently that got fixed after the last patch which I have yet to download because if it is like past versions the gameplay ends up being worse. I heard from operation sports that the game speed was sped up after this patch and I love it where it's at.

I really did hear the hog call when I played at Arkansas. Is that saying it never triggered at all or was it just very rare?

Gameplay is fine outside of the injury timeout bug and some baffling pass blocking AI issues. No real complaints there, but there's a lot of fixing to do in other aspects of the game.

From what I've read all they did was lower the amount of 4 stars that are generated in total rather than address the actual AI roster building issues. If you get deep enough into a dynasty, you'll have rosters with 8 players at RT and only 1 LT. Stuff like that. That's probably a major contributing factor to the overalls getting so jacked up. The system is apparently horrible at addressing roster needs for the CPU teams.

I believe you. For me it's not triggering at all, but the reports are also saying it's not happening to everyone. It's just one of those things that apparently happens to some but not others. Could be different depending on if you're on console or PC or it could even come down to specific types of hardware. I don't know.

Encountered another bug. Apparently in RTG sometimes the legacy score requirements for uncapping your max overall will just disappear and you'll be stuck at whatever max you are. I can no longer progress my QB beyond an 80 overall despite having what would be the required legacy score to increase it.

Speaking of immersion breaking, ODU fired their HC after going 10-2, winning their conference, and being ranked 15. When I looked at their AD goals, all 3 had green check marks. It doesn't make any sense

That’s what I said when I failed to notice my oc and dc at Texas state were on one year deals and I didn’t see the manage staff.

There is surprise surprise a bug with that to where every coach has an offensive style even the DCs.

With Buffalo both my coordinators left because I had no dynasty points to pay them, not a huge deal since most of the recruits I’m going for have no offers or 1 and the schools I am fighting down have high coach stability ratings or prestige ratings.

2 games in and Buffalo has broken into the top 25 so I’m pretty sure unless the season goes crazy that I’ll be in the CFP.

They once again made bama be terrible in another dynasty and Michigan is a disaster at 0-3 and their offense was way worse than FIU.

The other bug that I’ve noticed and feel like this happened in prior year is when looking at the defensive stat previews the total yards allowed per game and points per game are correct but the break down between passing and rushing is broken and just shows whatever is lower in both spots. The patch culture of gaming is really a problem.

I’ve also noticed in games my defense will go through a spurt where they create turnover after turnover and then go a game or two with no turnovers at all. I have noticed more fumbles from the cpu this year as well. In past games I’d have insane interception numbers and any fumbles were from sacks, now I’m laying big hits all over the field and the WRs and running backs are fumbling.

Due to lack of recruiting good linebackers I’m running 2 strong safeties at linebacker and they are causing problems being 88 speed and able to catch. I’ve started to play about 75 percent on the weak side linebacker/ same side linebacker as the running backs. I haven’t got a lot of user lurks yet but I’ve been causing enough problems that my dline can get pressure.

I think after this season I’m going to put Buffalo in the acc or big 10. Either that or maybe moving to a power school. It’s was fun playing in the big house and the fans singing mr brightside. I’ve also been calling a lot of variety with this dynasty, other than deep passes because those still don’t work well without a great qb.

That was present last year too. I didn't pay attention one time and hired a DC as my OC . It was so far into my Dynasty it really didn't matter, I was a well oiled machine at that point, but I just had to laugh and wonder why a DC even showed up under the OC candidates
