That option is in one of the last week of the season if I remember correctly . it might even be the week right after the season ends. Go to manage staff or something and it gives you the option to fire or extend.

I think the window to do it is very small, I want to say it’s either the week before the conference championship, the week of it, or right after it. I have seen it before and in my Texas state dynasty I missed it and both got fired because I missed the week to reup them.

In year 2 I’ve got Buffalo sitting at 11-0, number 9 and an offense that is as balanced as can be getting near 250 passing and rushing every game. Eastern Michigan hit a 60 yard field goal with ease vs me, the Mac seems to be loaded with power kickers. I did notice the punts look to be more reasonable until your in 25 mph winds.

In my last game vs Toledo, I realized the game really hates calling defensive pass int, their DB decleated my wr in his cut and proceeded to pick off the pass after and return it to the 4. It was a strange game where I started with a 4th down miss because my wr just didn’t run the route at all on the road, gave up a massive pass with a roughing and to give them a easy next play score and then turned it over making a bad decision and they broke a big play. I got down 14-0 and then ran off 28 points in a row including a 94 yard TD run. Then in the second half my offense would move the ball and either stall or have something stupid like that red zone pick where they just mauled my wr. I actually kinda like the road games this year, a lot of the team comes out ice cold and takes a few drives to get going at times, feels pretty realistic.

They need to fix the schedules though because in year 2, 4 teams played at the same stadium as previous year. I get one like the sec quirk this year but 2 seemed weird. The other weird scheduling was all of my conference road games were back to back at the end of the year.

So after struggling defensively against the pass, I decided to try something different and get linebackers, safeties and cornerbacks in the transfer portal that weren't good at man to man but really good at zone and my defense is so much better now strictly playing zone defense. It helps that I have a free safety that 6'5" and a cornerback that is 6'2" and one 6'1.

Year 2 13-0 Buffalo makes the playoffs but Indiana managed to jump me and get the 8 seed. I really was looking forward to a snow game in December in Buffalo

I didn’t try to fire them but it looked like I could click on it and they had 3 years left.

It’s so stupid how what you put your adaptive AI on in your coach menu makes such a big difference in difficulty. When it doesn’t really explain it. Pick mad scientist for your own coach and the cpu games are MUCH harder. Pick clock and cushion or ground and pound or whatever and the games are much easier as long as you can stop the run and the cpu plays much more conservative. I bet many people pay no attention to this when making their own coach and it has such an impact on the game

Anyone know how to fix the scheduling flaw?

Started a dynasty with Arkansas and in year 2 it reverted back to 8 SEC games.

Also kind of pisses me of off, regardless of team, I always get 3-4 straight non conference games, bye week, then 8-9 straight conference games.

Somehow in 2 of the last 3 games I’ve had the cpu oline recover a damn fumble and run away from my defense for a TD. The first kinda made sense because it was army so I assumed he would be faster than normal but uab just did it to me in the American conference title game.

After 13 games I’m averaging 208 passing and rushing per game. My qb won the Heisman despite having essentially zero passes that were caught further than 15 yards out. His 80 noodle arm couldn’t throw down field so I just ran or threw short all year.
