Passing is more difficult - receivers drop more and there’s less breakaway.

I think they catch more. Last year the receiver dropped it almost every time you got hit In the air. Now you can catch the majority of them.
I'm loving the gameplay. Cutting and overall running looks more natural along with the passing game also feeling more smooth. The running game isnt quite as easy for the human and that is a good thing. I have to test that more though to be sure. I think the computer is slightly improved running the ball.

Can’t wait to play this on PC on my ultrawide

So they actually fixed the thing where the wr throws the ball over his head if he's hit while making a catch? They tried to patch it last year but it still happened way too much

Yes, I haven't seen that animation play out yet. Thank God

Man im really debating on getting this. I havent played in 10 years or more and now that its on PC I have the option. It more nostalgia thing really as we used to have tournaments and me and a few buddies would play all the time. NIL deal shite pisses me off as i hate it IRL. Dynasty was always my fave but the road to fame is neat as well although I will never play Madden. Debating between this, ESO again to legit give it a whirl and assassins creed black flag resynced

Just get a month of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and play CFB26 via Cloud Gaming. I wouldn't recommend playing multiplayer that route but you can get your fix for cheaper than $80.

my ULM dynasty is 4-1 right now with a last second loss to MSU in the first week

Oh crap! I've not been following the upcoming one and this is the first I'm hearing about it being on PC.

My only gripe is the gameplay feels to fast paced like madden. And small hopefully fixable gripe is hordes of missing freshman.

Receivers drop literally everything if you don’t have that gay arse catch meter on. I went 5 straight games without catching a contested deep ball then turned the timing based catch on and started catching everything.
Awful gimmick.

I find this to be an improvement on 26 in every way. This is the game we all wish we had last year.
Speed is a nice split between 25/26. Running much improved. No more insta DT/DL sheds to grab your RB if you tried to hit a gap inside.
D changes are where they should have always been. Much less QB scramble forever garbage. Zone defenders much more intelligent. Macros for audibles are a game changer.
Dynasty changes are a lot, so it will be nice to learn it all again. Adds a lot of dimensional depth.
We have an online TD Dynasty going if anyone wants in. Check out the thread on this board.

Game is better in pretty much every way overall but the catching is horrible.

I don't use the catch meter and don't have any problem with receivers catching.

I just bought it. Haven’t played in ten years so frick it it’s worth the nostalgia. I got eso as well. Gonna finish my character in poe2 and then go between eso and ncaa. Give Diablo 4 and fallout a rest for a while. I really hope they each franchise gets their shite together.

I need some advice from a ten plus year layoff. I remember i used to run deep attacks out of shotgun all the time and essentially was unstoppable. Obviously that probably not a play anymore. Honestly i havent watched any reviews or gameplay about this game. For me its probably more of a throwback to my early twenties with buddies.
Damn thinking about the last time i played ncaa with my bros vs where we all are now its kinda heavy truly. Good and bad. There are just so many good times wrapped up in NCAA back in the day for me. I know it will disappoint from that aspect but at the same time it will feel good to revisit that some for me.
We used to have about 15-20 people over, order pizza and have a beer run. There was a tournament with a loser bracket and winner bracket.. loser could win their bracket and have a wild card nback into the main tournamnet. No wives or girlfriends. No drama just food beer and friends. Damn it was the good ol days.

Ratings matter a lot. If you are a 70s team playing a 80s team then your receivers are going to drop a lot.
Playing as an underdog on heisman is really difficult and I like that.

This game is beautiful
Also being able to choose your crowd colors each game is a pretty sweet little addition

Difficult or impossible? There’s a difference.
