Are there a lot of guns? Loot?

they toned the story annoying shite way down..but. they may have gone too far. borderlands humor can be annoyingly over the top, but that is not here at all, and i kinda miss it

but. gunplay, movement, loot all a ton of fun. you have to do sidequests or you get underleveled quick too. i think it's a day one buy, but dont expect 1 or 2. it's definitely not 3 at least.

yeah, there's a few fights where i literally start laughing because there's so many enemies on the map

it may have needed a little more time to cook. the bones are there, needs to be filled out a little more to immerse you in the world. not upset with the purchase though, has been fun

My only complaint so far is the invisible walls. I’ll see somewhere on the map I want to investigate, figure out my route to get there, climb the side of a mountain or cliff, and then hit an invisible wall because the game wants me to approach that area from a different direction. Can’t remember the last sandbox game that had invisible walls in the interior of the map.

I’ve been enjoying my time with it.

Been playing solo as an exo soldier. I’ve taken out two of the primary bosses and played through a decent amount of content. Level 32.

Took me a while to adjust to the new open world concept and the new radar system but no major complaints.

I could do without the collectibles/bounty board missions that require you to carry objects back to a drop off point. No vehicle, no climbing, no fast travel and often a long run back. That is the most glaringly bad design choice I’ve noticed so far.

also thoroughly enjoying BL4.

The upgrades from BL2 to BL4 were needed in BL3. So you mix that in with an open world, a better story line, and a lot more craft ability with guns. It’s a win.

Right now I’m rocking a Clone slash Blood Letting combo build with Vex, but for the end game and boss farming I’ll probably go all in on Blood Letting.


Also looking forward to beating the game and starting a new character (Rafa) as a max level 30 as well.

This is 100% true. Playing coop with 3 friends on Xbox and we have to restart every hour or so. Waited too long last night, dropped a legendary class item for a friend and it crashed our whole game. Item was gone after logging back in.
