It always seemed like a Destiny ripoff with promises that couldn't be delivered so EA just said frick it and released what they had.

This is the game they tanked Andromeda for. . .they literally pulled 2/3rds of the dev team off of Andromeda midway through to focus everything on Anthem
They bailed on a major IP with a fiercely loyal fanbase to make a goddam Destiny clone

I remember pre-2012 being downvoted on reddit for questioning the sacred cow that is Bioware. Mass Effect 3 ending, Mass Effect Andromeda, SW:TOR, Anthem... they've gone to shite.
Last great game they released was Mass Effect 2.

Dragon Age Inquisition wasn’t bad

For all their faults, at least EA gave me the opportunity to play for a week and cancel my preorder. It really is a shame because the fun parts really are great, they are just not enough of them.
How are we feeling about Division 2? Going to play the beta this weekend. D1 lost me early on but I heard it really improved

Cautiously optimistic about division 2. Not sure I'm feeling Washington DC tho . I liked Manhattan

If I didn't get this for free when I bought a new video card, I would have never bothered playing it. The game is just repetitive and boring.

The game has alot of issues. I got it because a friend talked me into it so we could play a game together. It had a bunch of technical issues with being booted from games and losing connection to EA servers. The loading screens take forever. You have to constantly talk to the town people after every mission and that is brutal. Take alot of time to get around to them all and the conversation is shut then you have to make choices which idk if it even makes a difference in which choice you pick besides how much reputation you gain.
Combat is fun but my javelin is super squishy. If you do play the game just pick the colossal javelin because he is straight tank and survived through everything and also does good damage.

SW:TOR

Mass Effect 3 ending

They did a lot to improve the game. My favorite change is how any companion can fill any role now. Before, some characters had to wait 10-20 hours of play before they got their healer whereas some got it in the first planet.
That said, abandoning raids killed the game. SW:TOR always had a decent endgame comparable to WoW, but they went years without adding a new raid. I do not understand how monthly story chapters that can be completed in about 1 hour was supposed to keep people playing.
I also felt like KoTFE did some really goofy things with the lore that make the game barely feel like Star Wars.

The first big nerfing was the 1st major patch.
They nerfed troopers AOE mortar, and tanked the class. It basically eliminated soloing for the class in a game where soloing is crucial.
My main was a trooper
I have had people say they fixed mortar back a year or so later, but I was done by then.

I love it. I’m not as hardcore as most you online FPS guys are though. Enjoying doing missions with friends and how good looking the map is. Biggest complaint is there’s a bug that dosent let you open loot chests after a mission, frickin sucks

The Division 2 is going to sell like hotcakes if its any good.
Nothing says awesome like having to shoot one dude 50 times with an LMG damn near point blank to kill him.

yea bullet sponges in DC doesn't excite me. I'll buy division 2 sometime down the road when it's like 50-75% off with all the dlc and the game has all its kinks ironed out. wish I had done the same for the original division

That game was awesome, and once they patched the ending it wasn't terrible either.

Knee-capping Andromeda was unforgivable.
Dragon Age Inquisition
-This game was the turning point for me, step down in story telling, the open world concept was not done well. I really hated this after how good Origins was.
