Had rotten luck with turnip prices today but a friend had them at 220, so I just sold for more than double what I paid, pretty happy

Does anyone know what happens if you are on a mystery island and have to stop playing? When you play again,do you start in your home like usual or on the island?Just wondering if I need to make sure I have some time before wasting 2k Nook Miles on a trip.

Man the past 2 nights I loaded up on bait and fished off the pier forever hoping to get that or a Marlin. But zero luck.
Flick is at my island today so I just went tarantula hunting one last time before they go away tomorrow. Got 10, but since they nerfed the non tarantula islands it took forever and I called it a night.
