Mine are:

New York
New Orleans
Chicago
San Francisco
Houston

Note: I wasn't thinking of craft beer when I started this thread, but if that adds to your dining experience in a particular city go for it.

I see Charleston popping up on a lot of top 10 list. Its been over twenty years since I have eaten there and don't remember being blown away. Does anyone know what has changed in the food scene there to make it such a viable destination.

Yeah I'd agree with this list.

Bonus: Most underrated food city is Portland, ME.

Boston has a really good food scene, and it's getting better every year. But even with my Boston bias, I don't think I can put it Top 5. I'd say it's in the 6-10 range easily though.

1. New Orleans, LA

Greenville, SC should be top 5 if talking specifically about the southeast.

Such an idiotic and overused quote on this website. Maybe it made sense when he said it during his lifetime, but surprisingly, the world changes.
