I beg your pardon.. I never promised you an Olive Garden.

Alexandria bemoans their lack.

I know of at least 2 families from Alexandria that routinely drive to Shreveport to eat at Olive Garden.

I think (or at least hope) that it is just one of those things are always perceived to be better when you don't have it scenarios.

It's a running joke because of the rumors started on the morning radio show. Rod may have even started them.

Lord, I remember when the olive garden in Monroe burned down....I've never seen a town so depressed. There were people going on the news saying things like...it NEEDS to come back. we are an olive garden town!! I had no idea what that meant at the time, but this article helps that comment make sense lol

Wait, people WANT an Olive Garden? That's really depressing, even by Alexandria standards.

Why would you need an Olive Garden? We now have a Walk-Ons and 2 Panda Express?

It still amazes me that every time i pass an Olive Garden and Red Lobster, the parking lots are always packed.

Red Lobster is very big in the black community
