It’s slowly changing away from that, tons of research shows chains are losing popularity.

It’s really the 40+ crowd keeping them in business, younger people are way more adventurous

How is local management messing up burgers and waffle fries? What do they not get? If Alex can't nail down the Walk On's menu, it's pretty bad.

Texas RH is a corporate owned restaurant, so that is why it’s so well run. I wish other places would take note. I mean it’s just ok food but the service is excellent and the food is consistent...what else could you ask for from a chain?

Our waitress was terrible. She looked like she just came off of a 3 day meth binge.

Mouton, I call bs. I used to work on their boilers, in and around their kitchens, it's definitely pre-made and re-heated. I seent it. Haven't eaten there since. That's been 15 years ago

I agree, except certain towns like Houma and Metairie where chains are a way of life.
