Interesting results. I've only had a couple of glenlivets. The founders reserve was on clearance around the holidays at Rouses for 22 bucks per liter. I ended up buying three.

For $20 I like it and have a case of my own. For $9 I mean you kinda can’t go wrong IMO. I never mixed it but I’d bet a good OF would work. It’s barely filtered...no charcoal...no chill. It’s just screen filtered out the barrel so it’s got a good mouthfeel going on IMO.

Old Elk Releases Sour Mash Reserve has a high malted barley content and is quite spicy. Not your normal sweeter wheated bourbon.
