3PD
I enjoyed the WT BP rye. Then I had this family reserve bourbon festival rye and it blew it out of the water. One of my favorite pours. Only wish I had a backup.

Well hell, you're gonna make me go out and buy some Oban. It seems to always be toward the top of the list of things to try but never at the top spot, so I never pull the trigger. Same category as Green Spot, Red Breast, Dovetail, Talisker, and Longrow. I have the Kilkerran 12, the 8 Bourbon cask, and the heavily peated batch 3, I'll have to do one of these side-by-sides and report back.

I forgot I grabbed a bottle of that 12y Kilkerran. May hit dat next.

Yeah man. Oban is what got me to appreciate scotch. That Oban 18 is my absolute favorite bottle I own. The distillers is my go to pour for it though since it’s at a more reasonable price point.
Green spot is my favorite Irish. It’s heavy on the green apple for me, and I love that. Redbreast is great as well. I haven’t tried the others you listed, but I almost pulled the trigger on that Longrow today. Went with the Kilk18 instead, so I will probably buy the longrow next month. I’m super curious to try some prayed sprinbank, who’s is what that longrow is.
Let me know how those bourbon cask and peated Kilks are. I grabbed the sherry 8 after seeing Bus raving about it. Just happened upon it at Martin’s soon after that, and it was their only one. Great stuff.

Delicious, even in a two cent cup.

This is the stave selections for the Elios pick.
And I get a good amount of chocolate in this one. Can't imagine how that Dorignacs pick is

That dorignacs pick is ridiculous. Is it dessert in a "too rich for more than one pour" sense? Or enough balance for multiple pours?
Posted on 5/26/21 at 9:38 pm to dnwsr
It’s all mocha baby. I could drink the whole bottle in one night if that was possible.

Cannatas has six mocha staves. I thought that was a bit overboard until I saw dorignacs. However, I will say cannatas pick is pretty damn good.
