I have a batch 5 of the American waiting for me. I haven’t had any of them so I’m looking forward to it. Heard good things about the lineup.

9 is the only one I haven’t had.
I thought the 10 was probably a little better then the 8.

That’s impressive. I paid for the discovery series 4 Bardstown but even after all the positive reviews I was skeptical.

1PD is the Kilkerran I just picked up. 2PD is the 8yr sherry cask finish for comparison. The Cambeltowns have a funk to ithen that is wonderful. They all have a savory sweetness to them. The sherry cask brings some berries to the prarty, and oddly enough it tastes like a sweet smoked brisket. Sounds gross but it’s quite good and intriguing. You can taste the youth of the 8yr in it, but the complexity is greater.
These are both great, but the Springbank distillery is still superior. It’s become my second favorite scotch behind Oban.
