Four Roses E recipe that was put in a toasted new Kelvin cask for a month or so @dnwsr. It was an It’s Bourbon Night SiB from Seelbach’s. Put a hurting on it on a trip to Toledo Bend along with that WT12 earlier this year. Been sipping it slowly since. Prompted me to keep an eye out for them Four Gate SiB bills. Perfect for this time of year my baw.

2PD is a toasted Four Gate SiB sourced from Four Roses. One of my favorites.

That seems to be the trend these days and getting worse and worse. I’ll pass on the MWND and grab two Sagamore Sherries for the price.

it's sitting in a small group behind the 4R limited edition of my favorite pours this year.

I’ve heard it was good but that’s some super high praise. I’m assuming I’ll never see a bottle of this to purchase, but I’ll keep an eye out for a pour and for those new SBBP Ryes from their new program. As a rye fan, that’s a dream come true.

Does it have those medicinal cherry notes like the Calumet 15/16? I don’t think I’ve had any decently aged brown-foreman. The barrel proofs are fantastic though.

Yeahhhhh buddy Shared Pour had offered the 8 and 12yr so I got one of each to try. Any opportunity I get to purchase and try a limited Wild Turkey offering, I’ll take it.

Talking about the Four Gates-Kevin series. Been looking for one.

For this one, I bought this one through Seelbach’s Bourbonrpro club I believe. Roughly 3-4 times a week they send alerts about new releases and this was one of them. I paid for the membership about a year or so ago and it’s paid for itself in free shipping so far. If you’re subscribed to the Seelbach’s mailing list, you should get an email in a few months asking if people would like to join. Also, not quite sure where you’re located but Four Gate does distribute to Louisiana. I know there’s several stores in the Lafayette area that carry them. No need to rush and grab them either, they tend to sit on shelves.
