re: Whiskey/Bourbon/Scotch Volume III

So I just got my first Laphroaig - Select which is apparently the “tamest” one.

I can drink Booker’s 130.6 neat without batting an eye but this smoke is something else; on my first pour and had to add a little splash.

Just read that Old Carter announced expanded distribution into New York, New Jersey, Georgia, and Louisiana starting spring 2021. Keep an eye out baws.

Laphroig is great, but then again I love Scotch especially peated whisky.

Laphroig is not a bottle I’d use to introduce someone to Scotch. But once I know someone is into it, it’s a great bottle to turn them on to.

How is Wilderness Trail? I see their bottles on here frequently but have never had it and don’t know much about them.

I enjoy it. It's a wheated bourbon that just came into our market about a year ago. They're a small distillery and most of their stuff is bottled in bond I think.

Supposedly their bourbon fest picks are awesome from what i've heard around here. I think Toof has a bunch of the fest picks. I saw them at a place around here a month or so ago, and regret not snagging them when I saw em.
