I have seen that tun 1401 come up a lot in trades commanding a large sum. What's the deal...certain batches? Id like to see what the hypes about.

TA I got that at martinis a while back. They had a set of like 4 different finishes. And only 2k bottles each finish so as you can see zzzooomg rayer...since not boirbon it's sitting on the shelf Very tasty...wish I had more.

Yea yea unk sized pour...had poured the regular amount and that left not quiet enough for another in the bottle...so he gone.

They are a blend of 20-50 year old malts. Batch 9 used 11 bourbon barrels and 3 sherry butts.

I've thought about trading it since as SMS and TA would say, I'm not sure I can "appreciate" it.

Cool looking glass.

It's odd listening to a guy in a cut off tshirt talk about the intricacies of fluid dynamics though.

Interesting.

The oloroso finish of the Tomatin is why I decided to try this one...and I am glad I did.

Once you open that bottle, you may fully come over to the scotch club. Then, you will only need a monocle and a top hat to complete your transformation.

That bottle is better than Balvenie 21 imo...

If this looks like it's gonna get funded I'll definitely do it. I'm an idiot. All you have to say is "glassware" and I'm hooked

Good news guys, we have a date for the Chrismas Party. Talked to Tom at the Cove last night and confirmed we are getting together on Thursday, December 10. We will figure out a lot more details in the next few weeks, expect lots of giveaways though and expect an epic flight and some deliciously discounted bourbon! I think this will definitely be our best event of the year, by far.
