Of course, bus. When are you coming back in town?

I think McKenna 10 year is better than the current iteration of Elijah Craig but $70? Even the old Elijah Craig 12 year bottles don’t fetch that.

Nice. May meet JP Thursday night, but will be solo closer to new year. We can just do a steak grill/whiskey tasting with jd, rf,jp, and you at my house. I will throw out that sunday (30th)

While this is a great idea, what you’re talking about would be a tremendous undertaking logistically for a small independent account such as ours. That said, I like it and will ask around for ways in which it could be implemented.

look into CRM (customer relationship management) software ... you should be able to find some relatively inexpensive.

It really is...especially after my old go-to tried to gauge me. Thankfully I found this guy who was just kinda mentioning he had some bottles in a facebook video where he was giving away a gift card. Got to talking and he apparently is strongly against mark-up...wanted $100 for the bottle. Talked to a few people around here about him, and he don't even mark up his pappiez when he gets them. Should be cannonized four bourbon retailer sainthood.

Bond & Lillard. I guess the pic didn’t post...

We just got a case of the pints in...$50 ??

Cracked one just for giggles. Drinks pretty hot @ 10:30 am even for a 100 proofer. Lots of fruit notes as heat fades. Almost no caramel, brown sugar, or vanilla. Little wood. It’s apparently young (7 years or so).

PS I just read that Old Forester is totally out of 1910.... it apparently WAY exceeded what they thought the demand was gonna be. May go snag a bottle or two after work

1920 > 1910 , but anyway I’m sure everyone will start clearing the shelves of 1910 since more won’t be available until July 2019. Disappointing as Old Forrester seems to take pride in making solid bourbon readily available. I’m not sure if I believe this was just an “oops” type thing or if they are just cashing in on scarcity.
