Take it FWIW, but I read the demand for the 1910 was 318% what it was for 1920. I love both, but not sure which I like better...2 different styles for sure!

Burbon pursuit has a very good episode with Jackie Zykan of Old Forrester. Worth a listen if you enjoy Old Forrester.

I'm a big fan of very oaky bourbon so the deep rich oaky flavor of the 1910 is amazing to me. It's got some awesome fruit flavors that open up with a drop of water.

Not sure if any one things sticks out to me about the 1920...I think the 115 is a really nice hot but not too hot and it's got some deep flavors itself.

Anyone interested in a '18 Stagg for '18 WLW trade?

You are probably going to have to add quite a bit to the Stagg to get a WLW.

Nvm

WLW usually goes for about $300 more than a GTS on secondary

ETA... guess it's personal taste but I saw it the other way it seems everyone else is thinking. Now way I would give up a stagg for a WLW

I'm aware of that. If someone has an extra WLW and does not have GTS, they may be willing to trade (both retail for the same price). This year's Stagg is as good or better than the WLW, depending on your preference.

Yeah I bought 4 bottles of JPS 18 off the shelf in BR. Still have about 1/3 of one bottle left. I also have bought Pappy Van Winkle off the shelf at regular retail price AND left some behind. Those were the days.

Now more squirrels and not enough nuts to go around.

Wayyyy more squirrels... Hopefully one day the hipsters move onto something else like tequila and we’re left with a huge surplus of great juice.

Picked this up on the way home today. $65 for 3 200ml bottles. Will make a nice gift to get someone started on Single Malt.

It is great to go back to the original thread and read the first couple of pages. The original thread link is listed in the OP of this thread...
