Apparently tons of people waiting in lines around town for Blanton's store pick. Meh.

That's a pretty cool packaging idea. I dig it.
I like Blantons plenty, but I would not wait in any line for it. Then again I don't think I would wait in line for any whiskey. I can see collectors going above and beyond to grab certain bottles, but I am a casual drinker. As long as I can find a suitable replacement for something I like (such as Bakers for Blantons), I'm happy with it.

Watch your wallet in Dorignacs. They usually mark up $10-$25 a bottle but you never know what you may find there in the shelf. I’d go to Martin’s which is basically across the street from Dorignacs. Zuppardos down the road from both of them has a big selection too.
