Come thru republic. My friend works on the truck & sends me pics. I’ve seen each one of these in the last 3 weeks outside of weller, which has been OOS
You misunderstood what I was saying. I said the rare stuff at Costco (when they had it) didn’t come through Republic. Someone I’ve know since before kindergarten, hand delivers the rare stuff. She told me Costco gets their own allocations from their corporate warehouse, not local distributors.

I don’t think liquor can cross state lines and be sold at retail

Unfortunately no. I’m wasting him and it’s depressing. Been fishing a lot lately and he’s not allowed on the boat

Republic I believe. I’m sure nearly everyone on this thread and lives in BR knows her. I saw her last week hand delivering allocations to Alexander’s Market.
A couple years ago, I tried to get info from her about when Costco may get their allocation. She says where ever they get it from, it’s not her.

It’s possibly such a big company like Costco could have some pull but I think you are right. I’d be surprised if that’s how Costco got there’s. It should come from the local distributor like the rest of it. I will ask my republic rep doe.
It could make sense tho because I’m almost certain all of laffy got there stuff by now but the Costco supposedly has not but think they might.

I don’t think Costco in BR has gotten any in last three or four years. I did get a Saz18 from there 3-4 years ago, and I believe that was true last time they got any. They got in about 12 bottles that year, up to a PVW20.

That’s because Costco doesn’t deal with the local liquor distributors
I am pretty sure that it was a Republic rep (man) pulling one of those flat bed dolly's with 18 bottles of BTAC and Van Winkles the first year the Costco was open in BR. I happened to be there at the time of this delivery.
