What’s your issue? That they didn’t sell enough tickets? That they sold their total allotment today and you didn’t think it would go that fast? Or that they told you too bad because they sold all of their tickets?

What could they have done differently? I gotta think the majority of people there this morning frequent that grocery often and live in the area? I don’t think many non locals are traveling to Geismar or Prairieville (wherever Harvest is) to buy a bourbon raffle ticket?

Is anyone having trouble finding Weller?

Which Weller? Weller SR is fairly easy to get, just ask around. A friend and I got two bottles yesterday by just asking.
The others are now allocations.

After this, I’m dropping the issue.
There is no way all those people there today frequent Harvest. The raffle last year may have had 60 people there. They get Van Winkle last year (unadvertised), the word gets out, now they have nearly 200 people waiting on tickets before they open. I now know of four locals that got tickets last year, the year before that, etc, that couldn’t get tickets this year. They all live in the Dutchtown area, shop there frequently.
Their first raffle had maybe 15 people there, all locals.
My biggest beef is how they treated people that shop the store year round. 90+% of the people there this morning will never step foot back in that store until the next raffle. This is the exact reason Hokus Pokus quit doing raffles.

Oak point (I think), Hokus Pokus, and at least one in New Orleans (or is that north shore?).

I think Hokus got 130 bottles, so isn’t that a half a barrel?

4PD. Any of y’all had Peerless SB? Price tag is a smidge high but not a bad drink.
