What in the world did Elios have that was worth waiting for at 5 AM?

If memory serves me right, the past few years they’ve released some barrel picks like Blantons or OWA. I’m assuming similar this morning?

I got in it at 10:55 and was no where near the front

From what I understand the sets (guessing W12/OWA & one of their barrel picks) went first. When I got in, it was down to Blanton’s (don’t think barrel pick but could be wrong) MWND, Stagg Jr., McK10 & a Pinhook set. Had plenty of Bourbon county varieties available too.

Don’t know if ETL/RHF were available or not before I got in there.

Didn’t you win two good bottles last year? (I was there, so this is a rhetorical question)

Pretty good for someone that admits he doesn’t buy any bourbon from there during the year. Call it 1 bottle per year average and tell your wife to get up earlier next year.

I said I don’t buy bourbon from there because they don’t put it out. I buy three things, EHT, ER, and WSR. You can’t buy it if it’s not on the shelf.
Yes, I won two bottles last year, W12 and W107. What does that have to do with this?
Me not buying bourbon from there has nothing to do with how they treat their regular customers. I do (did) buy a lot of beer and wine from there, plus 1000’s of dollars in groceries.

I was in line around 10:15, and the line was way in the gravel part of the lot then. I think they opened at 10 this year.

I saw someone leave with a Weller Full Proof. No idea what else they had. When I went in, they also had EHT single barrel and some Michters toasted rye.

For the retailer it sucks because you try to keep regulars happy but also trying to grab new customers at the same time. If you shop there as much as you say, then you probably had multiple chances to buy a ticket. Can’t fault a retailer for wanting to get new customers in the store. I totally understand that you buy more than the out of towners and they should have handled their reply differently. That’s where the customer service part comes into play.

No, I asked several times in last few days. They said no, it started today.

When did you pick up that Saz pick? I was in town (BR) last week and didn’t see that one.

Hokus Pokus. They dropped it today. They have about 50-60 bottles left I think.

It’s very smooth but a little light on flavor. It’s well worth $22 a bottle

Is anyone having trouble finding Weller? The stores in DFW that I've been to or called are out. Been going on for about a month
