Trying to post pictures again but failing so far. But really liking more and more this Willett 4yr. Rye.

Picture posting success!!! I’m sure no big deal to pretty much everyone here but please just let me enjoy my small victory with technology.

Same here. I grabbed a bottle 2 weeks back to try, and I am liking it a lot. I think I still enjoy Pikesville a bit more, but that's splitting hairs.

Anyone familiar with this scotch? Was at store recently, and a scotch guy in there was telling me this is a good one for people like me who like bourbon but are working over into scotches. Didn’t want to blind buy $65 though without knowing.

I do like Oban, Craigalachie and Balvenie.

This is one of the better bottles out there. Balvenie 14yr Carribean Cask. It has been $80-$85 for the longest but Martins and Total Wine have been carrying it for $50-$55 It’s a steal at that price. Delicious.

It’s not a bad scotch at all. But probably my least favorite Talisker. If you decide you like it, try the 10, 18 and Distillers Edition

And if you are just getting into Scotch, try Kilchoman Sanaig. It’s heavily peated so be ready for some smoke, but it’s fantastic. Not expensive and it’s the bottle that converted me to a Scotch drinker.

Yep the Caribbean cask is great. Had a glass last night.
Of you like that one and haven’t had any other Balvenie offerings, try the double wood 17. Excellent but more expensive.

Memphis have you ever had any of the Laphroig bottles? Heavily Peated and just flat out delicious. The 10yr runs in the mid to upper $40s in price and is great. Not many people like that peat flavor but I love it. Their Triple Wood and Quarter Cask are both damn good too. I picked up this Cairdeas bottle a few weeks ago and I’m very much enjoying it.

Oh yes. Have the 10, Lore and quarter cask.

Covid has resulted in a massive expansion of my Scotch supply. I think I’m up to just shy of 60 bottles.

Islay is my favorite region.

Of you like Laphroig and haven’t tried them, check out
Lagavulin
Ardbeg
Kilchoman

There’s more but that’s a good start

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ve had Bottles of the Lagavulin and Kilchoman but not Ardbeg. The two I’ve had were solid. I’ll try the Ardbeg.
