I agree. Anthonys is just not good at all. They use shite meats and cheeses, and that press thing they do is just stupid.
Central Grocery still sells a Muffuletta the way a muffuletta is supposed to be. I'm not sure what people are expecting as far as wonderful gregarious service. They're just slinging premade sandwiches from a counter.

The owners are good people. It's either a sharon special or combo(shrimp & oyster) poboy for me. Once in a blue moon, I'll get their muffaleta, it's tasty but I don't have anything to compare it with because it's the only place I tried a muffaleta.
