Where would you go for a weekend food trip?

I have some credit on Southwest airlines that I need to use. Thinking the wife and I will just take a short weekend trip somewhere. Where would you go and where would you eat? Keeping in mind it needs to be somewhere Southwest flies.
Assume we would get to the destination for a Friday night dinner and would stay until Sunday afternoon. We would likely be flying out of Dallas.

A few questions: price point? Types of food you enjoy? Time of year?

I would go to Chicago, but that's mostly because I have never been.

I would agree with rowbear and say Chicago, but not in December. Unless you’re ok with cold weather.
San Francisco has a fantastic food scene. Also, Nashville would be a really great option.

San Francisco/ Napa Valley.
Asheville NC seems to have a nice scene.
I don’t think flying is worth it for just a two night stay so I would just go to New Orleans.

I would usually agree but the credit is going to expire soon and I already have most of my vacation time allotted for other trips.

Austin is an easy trip with small travel time, perfect for a short weekend

Kansas City might be a nice choice too, especially if you are into barbecue.

My first thought was also Chicago. You could also look into Miami if you plan on going in the winter, Ive always wanted to experience the cuban food

Napa is much easier to get to from Oakland. 880 to 24 to 680 to 80 to 12. Simple.
Really it is much easier in and out of Oakland to go to Napa area. I travel there several times a year to our plant in Martinez.
