After reading the hype I would like to give it a try. None at Rouses or Albertsons

I love Cajunland for my boils. What's the difference in the two?

Cajunland is my staple too.

Chackbay seems to be mostly a flavor element with no salt and medium heat.

Chinese red pepper in chackbay, I still like Cajunland better.

I use them together.

It's the best flavor of any boiled crawfish I've ever had.

Half of each?

I like how both are very low in salt content.

What you see in that picture was used for a 35 pound sack, and it was perfect.

I can't get my hands on either I am sure here in Houston in time for Friday's boil but what about Chinese red pepper? Is it found in most stores? How much to add and when? I generally use Zats because it's easy to get here.

Ya, if I'm understanding this right.

You buy the chackbay seasoning and another seasoning.

Use the other seasoning and leave the bag of chackbay where everyone can see. Kind of like a yeti sticker.

Putting that much didn't over season the crawfish?

Maybe i did something wrong, i usually use swampfire and they come out great. F&D board convinced me to try chackbay and they were the most bland crawfish ive ever tasted. i used the 1 sack of seasoning in an 80Qt pot, 33 lbs sack of crawfish. Maybe next time ill put in 2 and see where it goes.
