What is mayonnaise? I love it, knowing it’s bad for me, I’ve never cared to find out what the hell it is.

Basically just egg yolks, lemon juice and oil with a little salt

Noticed a billboard with the new label in NOLA last week. I don't know why they did this.

Mayonnaise is nasty anyway. Just liquid, flavorless fat. I wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole.

If it’s made with a good oil, why would it be bad for you?

Love the new labels.

Blue Plate > Hellman’s or Dukes.

If you ever tried to eat baloney or ham on plain white bread you'd see the error of your commie ponko ways.

I nearly starved when Piggly Wiggly did it on their store brand hamburger helper.

I laughed a little too hard at this.

Today for lunch I had two of my favorite spring sandwich. Fresh white Bunny Bread with Blue Plate mayo, 4 medium slices of Cherokee Purple tomato from my garden with salt and black pepper. My father called them a sink sandwich because of the tomato was ripe the juice ran down your arm so he ate them over the sink.

I had two in his memory today over the sink. It would make him proud. And hungry.

If you’ve never had Blue Plate BBQ sauce I suggest ordering some. It’s not on store shelves only available by mail order and in gallons. But it is the best out there.
