I own a Sara Lee route. Are your routes still traditional where you have a truck and load your own bread? Or has your route moved to drop off? We moved to to three different routes about a year ago (snack route, traditional, and big store drop off). I own a big store drop off. I like only having two stores but I miss seeing the people at my old stops when I had a traditional. But I do not miss loading a truck.

I remember reading an article just last year (it may have been posted here) that logos we’re getting simpler.

Yep, I was wrong, sold in 1974 and moved production in 2000.

We load out of a depot . All the bread I order gets shoved in front of my bay door and I separate it by stop . I do pay a couple of pull up people so I am not out all day

For store bought it is my #1, I usually make it myself in small batches, when I started I adjust my recipe to taste like Blue Plate. They have the acidic element just right.

Yeah, that's sounds exactly how we used to do it. Now, everything is dropped off at my two stores (giant stores, each take at least 4 hours). I pay a pull up guy on Sunday. Otherwise, I do the rest myself.

For people in Alabama, Blue Plate is without a doubt the only mayonnaise worth anything.

Mayo is great. You'd like it on a hot dog
