Looks like he found some answers... and he didn't have to wade thru 159 pages to get them. I say the board is operating as intended.

12 year old was really good. Its used to be about $30. Sadly, they don't make one labeled such anymore. Apparently, there is a bourbon that is essentially the old 12yo Charter. I'm not sure which one it is, though.

I do blind whiskey taste testing, and consistently these bourbons (under $30) win

- Elijah Craig
- Evan Williams Single Barrel
- Old Granddad
- Old Ezra 107

For non bourbons
- Bulleit Rye - holy frick is this whiskey good!
- Dickel No. 8
