I'm a sucker for a good hotdog. I know that' oxymoronic for most, but I do think there are good hotdogs out there. What are your favorites. Mine would be:

Hebrew National
Nathans
Ballpark

Not in that particular order.

I've been buying these from Costco and they're damn good.

I’ll eat anything from a 99-cent hotdog to a fancy sausage. But I buy these when I make them at home.

I like the johnsonville jalapeno cheddar. They call them smoked sausage, but we can be honest...it's a hot dog. They are delicious though.

Whatever they serve at the ballpark. Any ballpark.

Don't know why, something about being at a baseball stadium makes hotdogs taste better. It's just a fact.

Nathans hands down.

When we grill hot dogs, I pull them off the grill, immediately put them in buns and wrap lightly in foil. Don't mash the buns. Put in the oven at lowest setting (170 for my oven). Leave for 20-30 minutes. Just like a stadium/ballpark dog. My boys wont eat hot dogs any other way now.

Someone is going to say how can you take 45 minutes to make a hot dog, but props to you for figuring out how your family likes em

Slightly burned Hebrew National on ballpark bun with yellow mustard and pickle relish.

Burned over an actual campfire with a little bit of ash on it is even better.

People talk shite but their Chicago Dog is legit. My wife lived in Chicago for several years and says it's as close as you are going to get to an actual Chicago street vendor.

Random thought-

I always wanted to know what the vendor puts on the NY hot dog that Sue orders for Mick in Crocodile Dundee.

Nathan
Hebrew National
Kirklands (Costco Brand)

Question: Is anything eaten on a hotdog bun considered a hotdog?

Some people posted items, I would not consider as being a hotdog. Not a flame, just a question. I consider a hotdog and a sausage as two entirely different things
