All three of my boys started with 7mmo8 and they handled it great. With a brake (which most gen 2’s already have ) it hardly kicks. I just love that caliber for deer. I liked it so much I bought my dad one in a BLR.

I would look at the ruger gen 2 in 308 or 7mmo8 unless you are needing straight wall. I bought my then 11 year old gen 2 ruger in 308 and its been great. Has muzzlebrake so hardly kicks.

Its been a few years since I researched but those yoders used to get crappy reviews. I’d dodge those.
Sounds like textbook manic episode. She needs a doctor and preferably a psychiatrist. Without any kind of medical intervention just waiting out a manic episode can be rough and a lengthy period of time. There is no reasoning with a manic person. I’ve been through that with my wife.

Damn you’re sending him to baseline?
Him working at the catfish hole is always my first thought. Everybody loved him.
I like those flights but haven’t been all that easy to locate.
I lay the bacon strip on cutting board and use chef’s knife at an angle to run it the length of the bacon. It flattens it so its thinner so cooks quicker. Its also wider so a strip goes a lot farther for wrapping whatever I’m cooking. Thats been what works best for me. (A dough cutter/scraper works, too)

Once you have reached maximum out of pocket (use to be $3600) she’ll be in the catastrophic phase and copays will be really cheap or possibly zero.
Take a big ball of aluminum foil and just scrape it all off after you finish cooking. That will get most of it especially the big flakes.

With leftover smoked ribs we cut them up and make a thin batter similar to a pancake batter and fry them. They are NOT healthy but they are ridiculously good.
Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Is this guy jealous of you shooting a big deer or what?
There’s a lot of worry on the hill. And some pissed off boosters.
I got a text early this morning saying its a done deal. Doesn’t look good.
