Did a C&S gumbo yesterday to get us to the weekend and Christmas lunch will be chicken & dumplings and do them up damn good.

Chicken & Dumplings
Cornbread
Blackeye peas
Homemade chocolate cream pie

Prime rib, Mac n cheese, baked spuds and a ham for the idiots that don't like prime rib to eat. lol

I fry my own Turkey on Christmas eve also do a Bone -in Ham make bacon Mac and a Bread pudding.

This is where it's a little different I take the rest of the fried turkey and do a Turkey and Sausage Gumbo on Christmas day!!

It turns out very good!!!

Turkey, cornbread dressing, gravy, picked up a honey baked ham, baked beans, potato salad, candid yams, green peas with onions and mushrooms, cranberry sauce and a seafood gumbo. :)

We're changing it up this year and going with a little Feliz Navidad flair.

Steak fajitas (pappasitos copycat), queso, salsa, etc.

We'll also have a chili cooked since it's so cold.

Christmas Eve lunch: Selection of fried seafood from Tony’s, cole slaw, hush puppies, cheesecake with berry coulis

Christmas Eve dinner: standing rib roast, potatoes au gratin, creamed spinach, turos (Hungarian noodle dish),asparagus

Christmas lunch: baked ham, hash brown casserole, pineapple casserole, green beans with almonds, chocolate lava cake with peppermint ice cream

Christmas dinner: wine and sweet slumber

I made chicken/sausage gumbo for tonight. Going to the in-laws for a bit.

Tomorrow, I'm frying a turkey. And hopefully we'll have shrimp creole.
