I'm always a fan of Pinot Noir, Beaujolais, Zinfandel, Sancerre/Sauvignon Blanc, Dry Riesling, Lamrbrusco, and American Sparklings paired with the various options for Thanksgiving.

Haven't picked out particular bottles yet, but because of the amount of people involved, definitely looking at mid to low tier price options for most of it.

Should go by the wine shop this weekend to figure out the particulars.

What are you serving this year?

Pairs well with annoying family members.

Whatever works for you! I can't get into the non-vitis wines. Those concord ones are way too sweet for me (I have never had that particular one to my knowledge)

It’s what my grandmother, salty old Cajun woman, served for Thanksgiving. Anyone was welcome to a glass…I drank it out of those weird little crystal glasses with my mom giving the death stare. No one liked it…but hey, you’re letting me drink it…I’m down.

Extremely nice bottle of wine.

Cabs are generally not a good pairing for Thanksgiving, I'd open that one for Christmas personally.

Look into some Eastern European producers. Hungary, Croatia, Austria. Some great lighter bodied reds and spectacular white varietals (including sparkling) that will do us well on thanksgiving

Those are some good choices. I have a glut of wine currently, so will be grabbing things out of the wine fridge as they appeal to me. I will definitely open a German kabinett reisling, Vereinigte Hospitien, that is one of my favorite whites. I also have a bunch of white Bordeaux that I need to drink up. Probably open a sparkling or two. For reds, I have a Zin and several red Bordeaux that will be opened. We have 27 people coming for Thanksgiving, but only me and my uncle will drink more than a glass. The rest either do not drink much or prefer beer or cocktails.

I'm gonna be at the beach, not doing a big family thing. It will pair well with the hamburgers or steak I'll probably make lol

You're not lying. I had a bottle of Weninger Zenit not too long ago. It was my first Hungarian, and it was delicious.

A couple of bottles of Italian wine for me and the kids. Probably a 2001 Chianti Riserva and then a Brunello.

My wife likes sweet white wines so if she's in the mood for wine I'll pop one of those for her.
