Mediterranean. The Landmass.

There are a couple of good places (Sophi's in Biloxi and Aristo's in D'Iberville, although the latter is a bit too Americanized to count).

I like several of their dishes but it is outrageously overpriced

I’m not saying it’s the best food ever. It’s just something I can’t have 360ish days a year, so I enjoy getting to have it when I’m home.

And those margaritas are amazingly deadly, especially for only $13-14 or whatever it is.

South Bend, IN.

Korean bbq. I travel frequently to Los Angeles and always eat at least once per trip at GEN. It's amazing.

I've gone back to get my vehicle out of their parking lot the next day a few times

For food, the basic sauerkraut and bratwurst will do in addition to mustards, pumpernickel, pretzels, pastries, and cake.

Brats are a pedestrian perception of German cuisine. Sauerbraten, Schnitzel, spaetzle, then apple kuchen for dessert would be a German hit.

I've heard there's German influence in Louisiana, but I haven't seen it.

New Orleans - regional Chinese, high end traditional sushi, and good Neapolitan pizza.

RIP Horinoya on Poydras.

I miss this place dearly, run by a Japanese Chef, traditional Japanese service, Japanese language spoken, and superior product. It was the real deal. Good luck regularly finding ankimo, mirugai and other items that wouldn't normally be found at your typical American sushi joints.

Bratz Y’all does a good job on some schnitzel.

El Libre isn’t a bad choice. Although, I can’t think of any other Cuban restaurants in the city.

I guess we could use another place, but Ancora checks this one off for me. There’s also Sofia and Domenica...and I think another place opening where Wood used to be.

I’d say nola is lacking good Indian food.

For Baton Rouge, probably BBQ.

I haven't been in Knoxville long enough to really know, but I haven't seen much (if any) Greek/Lebanese.

I've yet to find a really good pizza spot in Houston. I'm sure these are a couple but I haven't found them yet.

Birmingham is missing a good Korean BBQ place. Montgomery has a bunch now due to Hyundai.

Gonzales seriously lacks BBQ and good Asian food other than sushi.

Baton Rouge lacks Korean food, more consistent BBQ, and German food.
