Stew.

Silver moon used leftover fried chicken then next day in the stew. Killer.

Also chicken salad is money dude.

The crust is the kicker in both.

Subtle brag. That must have cost you over 100 bucks.

Go fishing tomorrow. Cold fried chicken is undefeated on a boat.

Debone the chicken, sauté in a wok or cast iron dutch oven with honey, siracha, and hoisin sauce

Put in fridge

Take out 30 min before eating and let get to room temp

Air fry on 350 for 5 minutes

Tastes just as good as fresh

Pretend I’ve already had Popeyes for like 2 days straight and love - but am tired of - cold Popeyes chicken.

We had it catered. Need to do something with it bc at this point I’m good on Popeyes for a while. Or at least a week

if that’s the case just throw it in the freezer. No matter what you do with Popeyes chicken it’s going to taste like Popeyes chicken

Fried chicken pizza.

Store bought dough from Publix or Whole Foods.
Use mashed potatoes instead of pizza sauce.
Pull the chicken and separate the meat from the crispy outside breading.
Put the chicken meat on top of the mashed potatoes. Add a layer of shredded cheese. Top with the crispy breading.

Want to get really fat? Serve with chicken gravy as a dipping sauce.

I catered a wake party last Saturday with popeyes, they partner with ez-catering, a third party, and they deliver it. This was in Athens. Everything was nice and on-time, but of course the order was incomplete. They forgot the fries and the tea. But the chicken, biscuits, and red beans were really what mattered so I didn't make a stink about it, given the situation. The people were just happy to get some comfort food to go along with the tears in their beers. There were leftovers, lots of people took it back to their air-bnb's to snack on on later.

This can't be overstated. Even cold with stale biscuits, being on a boat while eating it completely elevates the experience. Cold and stale on a boat is better than hot and fresh at the restaurant. It's one of life's great mysteries.
