I buy the 45 cal per slice stuff normally, or sandwich thins/English muffins. But just finished a loaf of this since they aren’t stocking the healthy stuff during the crisis - and it was good.

The ole lady keeps Dave’s Killer bread around the house. I like it for a whole grain type bread. My white bread of choice is Bunny. But really I’m not a big bread person so long as it’s fresh.

Like several others so far----Dave's Killer Bread.
I really like the whole grains in the bread as it gives it a nice texture.
Absolute worst for me is plain white bread. That crap loves to stick to the roof of my mouth like spackling.

I like Dave’s but it’s in a long list that contains canola oil so I buy Martin’s.
Dave’s Killer Bread was named after him but he was not the owner. The bakery was his dad’s then the family.
Dave has an interesting past. He spent 15 years in prison for burglary, armed robbery and assault.
The bakery sold to Flowers a few years ago.

I don’t really eat much sandwich bread anymore, but my favorites are Evangeline Maid and Dave’s Killer Bread.
