Mahatma Jasmine. It's the only white rice I cook. We also eat a lot of black rice (Hinode brand is very good). I don't care much for brown rice.

Grew up on Mahatma up until recently. Now trying a bunch. I like Cajun Country, love Jasmin, next is basmati. However, I was at Costco and they had a 50 lb bag of Supreme long grain for $12. Could not pass it up. I really like it.

I have a pantry full of various types of rice I use depending on what I’m serving. My Mom still uses Uncle Ben’s sometimes and I guarandamntee you no one complains. Whatever she serves over rice would be darn good Over cardboard.

I’m not rice picky. If rice is cooked properly and the topping is good, I’m good.

If you want to support La farmers then you should mostly stay away from Mahatma/water maid. Mahatma jasmine is mostly Thailand grown.

Ellis Stansel's from Gueydan with butter on it is a whole 'nother level of food.

Their Brown Rice deserves steak gravy on it.

Heck, I even like their clear hot sauce
