What type of food is so easy to make you are more impressed when someone makes it bad. For me it’s spaghetti. What else can the board think of that’s hard to mess up

Boston Butt pork roast. If you ruin one of them, you can't even boil water more than likely.

I was also going to post this.

On the flip side. Plenty of people screw up coffee and crawfish.

Good coffee is a science

I’ve probably had more bad greens out than good greens.

If the sauce is coming out of a can, you have already messed up

Man, I have had some crappy, underseasoned crawfish in my time.

Chicken thighs on the grill unless you get inpatient and pull too early. A lot of wiggle room and even over-grill.

My neighbor doesn't like them really spicy. I just stopped going in with him and boil my own. I'd rather have a damn ham sandwich than bland crawfish

Hot Dogs.

I eaten 2 day old Tiger Dogs that I thought were tasty. I’ve eaten them cold out the package and been satisfied.

If you frick up a hotdog, that is real talent.

We cook breakfast a lot here at work. It’s a science and timing to do it right, so everything is ready at same time.

This is usually for 7-10 guys, 2 guys at most cooking

Steps:

Preheat oven
Get water on for grits
Get biscuits in oven
Get sausage in pan or bacon in oven
Crack/scramble eggs
Check meats
Heat pan with butter for eggs (important set, keeps eggs from sticking)
Add quick grits, constantly stir/season
Check/remove meats
Add eggs, turn even 30 secs or so
Remove biscuits
Turn off all burners

All done under 20 minutes, and everything ready with a minute or so

Some guys we don’t even let in the kitchen except to clean after. They have no clue

Or if the pasta is coming out of a box.

To the original question. A simple butter and sage sauce is difficult to mess up and is delicious over a very thin light pasta like tajarin (fresh made of coure). As long as the temp in the pan is right you can't mess it up.
